1. Who we are

FixWell Services is the data controller for any personal information collected through this website or in connection with our services.

2. What data we collect and why

Contact form submissions

When you use the enquiry or quote request form on our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the message or description of work you provide. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work you have requested.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interests (responding to a pre-contractual enquiry) and, once work is agreed, performance of a contract.

Google Analytics (analytics cookies — consent required)

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they came from. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. Google Analytics sets cookies including _ga and _ga_* on your device.

Lawful basis: Consent. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner (reload the page after clearing the consent cookie) or through your browser cookie settings.

Google Reviews widget

Our website displays sample customer review content. We do not transmit your personal data to Google as a result of viewing this section. If you follow the "Read reviews on Google" link, you will be taken to Google's platform and Google's own privacy policy will apply.

3. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with the following categories of third party, only to the extent necessary:

  • FormSubmit.co — our contact form is processed through FormSubmit, which forwards your submission to our email address. FormSubmit does not store your data beyond what is needed to deliver the email.
  • Google LLC — if you have consented to analytics cookies, usage data is sent to Google Analytics (operated by Google LLC, USA). Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Google's privacy policy.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiry and contact form data is kept for up to 12 months from the date of your last contact, after which it is securely deleted. If you become a customer, we may retain records of work carried out for up to 6 years for legal and warranty purposes.

Google Analytics data is retained in accordance with our Google Analytics retention settings, currently set to 14 months.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Restriction — ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format where processing is automated.
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent (analytics cookies), you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
